ALPhA Coordinated Regional Meeting

Monday, May 16th

We will be having our coordinated virtual and in-person ALPhA regional meetings across the US with talks and workshops celebrating the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.

• Hear our plenary speaker, Dr. Emily Easton, talk about her work as the Director of Education for the Chicago Quantum Exchange
• Learn about the various quantum experiments ALPhA has helped contribute to quantum education nationwide
• Discuss with ALPhA members in your region or nearby regions about the implementation of experiments in your advanced lab

Virtual Regional Meeting Sessions:

The following Regions will be hosting breakout sessions after the plenary talk and panel Q&A. Everyone is welcome to attend any of the additional breakout sessions, even if your particular region is not featured.

• Prairie Region - Regional Director, Alessando Cunsolo

• Four Corners - Regional Director, Nathan Powers

• Far West - Regional Director, Michael Ray

New York Region In-Person Meeting Information:

• Taking place from 9 - 5 pm ET at Siena College
• Registrants will be sent the Campus Map, Parking Information, and In-Person Meeting Schedule

Registration Fees

• $10 for ALPhA Members

• $20 for non-members

No registration fee is necessary for speakers or panelists (you will be receiving a code to use for complimentary registration).

Cancellation and Refunds

• If you need to cancel your registration, no refund will be offered, but your registration fee will go towards your next membership dues payment.
