ALPhA's 2025 Laboratory Immersions

ALPhA’s Laboratory Immersion experiences provide participants with two to three days of intensive hands-on work with a single advanced laboratory experiment. Enrollment is limited to two to three participants per experiment to ensure a confidence-building experience.

Registration will cost $325.00 per experiment (for in-person Immersions) and includes lunch and one evening meal. Travel and Housing costs are the responsibility of the participants.  Virtual Immersions will cost $275 per experiment.

Space is limited to only a few participants per experiment. Because the ALPhA Immersions were created to help faculty and instructional staff learn new laboratory experiments, registration priority is given to participants with teaching assignments that include laboratories beyond the first year of college instruction.

ALPhA’s Laboratory Immersions are partially supported by the Synopsys/Jonathan F. Reichert Endowment.  A list of Immersion registrants will be shared with the Jonathan F. Reichert Foundation so that they can be kept informed of the Foundation's activities and grant opportunities.
